The NCL Literacy Leadership Awards are a centerpiece of the Coalition’s advocacy efforts, recognizing individuals and organizations that have made extraordinary contributions to improving literacy in the United States. See articles, photos, and video segments of the events.

Regional advocacy symposia are hosted in partnership with state leaders in geographically diverse states. Participants explore current adult education advocacy information, strategies, and resources. They are eligible to apply for two advocacy grants.
